instrument presentation
WHAT IS IT?
We were asked to present our instrument in a group, and explain the requirements, the different notes, how it disassembles, and more. I was in a group with Cierra, Isabel, and Maya, and we were called MISC. (For Maya, Isabel, Sarah, Cierra) We had two string instruments, a wind, and a percussion. We played Mary Had a Little Lamb, Star Wars, and Jingle Bells.

isometric sketch
WHAT IS IT?
We were asked to do an isometric sketch that we learned how do to use using videos. It was supposed to be practice on how to do actual engineering drawings in our notebook. We were asked to pick our best one, and I chose this isometric sketch as my best one. We used graph paper made out of little triangles to draw it from a sort of side view, with proper shading.

instrument project
WHAT IS IT?
We were asked to create an instrument made of household materials. I chose to do a string instrument. It had to be able to play 5 different recognizable pitches, have 3 different detachable parts, and you must be able to play a recognizable song in front of your class. It must be able to fit into a box that was 12 x 9 x 5 when disassembled, and it has to be enticing to high school students. My string instrument was similar to a harp, and was made of two pieces of wood, and Christmas ornament string. We gave a presentation explaining our project/instrument.

introduction
WHAT IS IT?
In physics we were asked to come up with a testable question and broad question for our scientific topic. My topic was depression. We were supposed to come up with an introduction lab write up that explained how our questions were important, what we would need to find our information, and how we would test our experiment. We wrote down all of this information into an introduction paragraph that can be used in a lab write up. We found our questions and information with our group, but wrote our final introduction paragraph alone. We peer reviewed and revised it to get the best introduction we could.

As a group we were assigned a particular topic and we were asked to evaluate sources and find trustworthy sources take quotations from. This was one of the only trustworthy sources we found, and was the only source I took quotations from for my final introduction. It is the NIMH, or Nation Institution of Mental Health, and it is a government website with credible information on depression and other mental health issues.
